Justis is de screeningsautoriteit van het ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid. De organisatie verstrekt jaarlijks meer dan 1,3 miljoen Verklaringen Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG's), beoordeelt integriteit bij vergunningen (Bibob), toetst naamswijzigingen, beheert het Centraal Register Curatele en voert controle uit op BV-oprichtingen. Screening gebeurt op basis van justitiële documentatie en andere bronnen.
